Traveling Educational Photography Exhibition
The traveling exhibition “Sanctuaire Pelagos” invites the general public to discover the treasures of biodiversity in this marine protected area, which is unique in the world. Through the eyes of the photographers and explorers from We Are Méditerranée, it reveals the richness and fragility of the marine ecosystems that stretch across France, Monaco, and Italy.
Designed as an artistic and educational experience, the exhibition highlights the pelagic ecosystem and its iconic species—cetaceans, sea turtles, rays, and seabirds—while raising awareness about the threats facing this exceptional natural heritage.
International Roaming
Since its launch, the exhibition has already traveled to several iconic locations in the Mediterranean and beyond:
- France – Nice, Port of Nice: June 2023 (official launch of shipments)
- France – Nice, Promenade des Anglais: June 8 – September 30, 2024
- France – Hyères, Galathéa Festival: November 2024
- France – Paris, Diving Show: January 2025
- Italy – Genoa, Port of Genoa: March 3 – May 3, 2025
- Monaco – Galerie des Pêcheurs: April 1 – June 15, 2025
- France – Cavalaire, Maison de la Nature: July 1 – December 31, 2025
New stops are already planned along the Mediterranean coast to continue this awareness-raising effort.
